RCR 5th Grade students in Mrs. Perez and Mr. Tober’s class explored and analyzed fast and slow changes to Earth’s surface. They explored how landforms, such as deltas, sand dunes, V-shaped and U-shaped valleys, were formed. They were able to create their own landform using a Salt-Flour Map. Some pictures show students answering Science STAAR formatted questions using HOT DOTS pens (interactive learning science cards). Furthermore, students also created their own tie-dye name tag while exploring mixtures and solutions!

Great job to our future scientists!
